Jodie Halabe was born and raised in Fiji, a place that will always feel like home.

Jodie is an early childhood educator with more than 13 years of experience working across early learning centres, outdoor education, family care and community outreach in Fiji. She currently coordinates outreach programmes with Mobile Kindy Fiji, helping make quality early childhood education more accessible to children and families.

Fiji’s warmth, vibrant culture and natural beauty shaped Jodie’s childhood and continue to hold a very special place in her heart. Many of the moments woven throughout Our Home, Fiji are inspired by her own childhood memories.

Through Teresia and Tommy, Jodie invites children and families to see Fiji through the eyes of a child – with curiosity, kindness and everyday wonder.
