'Blue Bubbles - Underwater Fiji' by Alison Smith is a 178 page coffee table style hardcover souvenir book showcasing the splendour of Fiji's coral reefs and inhabitants. The book contains over 300 images captured in Fiji and fascinating, beautifully worded commentary.
Alison Smith is a celebrated photographer whose work has appeared in publications globally. Alison is passionately attached to Fiji where she spends most of her time under water with her camera. She has started Blue Bubbles Underwater Photography School based in Pacific Harbour, Fiji, which offers several Underwater Photography courses. The aim of Blue Bubbles Fiji is to use paid for imagery and media in order to assist ocean conservation bodies in Fiji. 10% of book profits are donated to the local charity Animals Fiji - a lifeline for the street dogs and cats of Fiji.
The book is a lovely gift for scuba divers, snorkelers and those wishing to learn more about Fiji's three dimensional world. It is also useful for marine biologists, sustainability and climate justice organisations, as well as trade bodies promoting Fiji. Filled with stunning underwater imagery, this is a visual feast of Fiji's coral reefs and underwater creatures.
