|Health Benefits||Dry brushing helps to stimulate the lymphatic drainage system and reduce cellulite.|
|What is a loofah?!||It's a plant! Similar to a cucumber, these loofahs are grown by the SeaStarz Director in her garden in Fiji! Not to be confused with a sponge, which is a marine invertebrate (found in the sea).|
Organic Fiji Loofah
Loofahs are a great natural product to use for skin brushing. You can use it to dry-brush your skin before a bath or shower, which stimulates your lymph system and aids lymphatic drainage.
It helps to get the blood flowing to bring oxygen to your cells and remove toxins - perfect for when you've been sitting still for a while and need to stimulate your system!
Alternatively, you can use it damp in the bath/shower if you prefer, to exfoliate dry skin and get to those hard-to-reach areas such as your back.
When used regularly, it can be an effective anti-cellulite treatment, but skin should be dry-brushed at least 3 times a week to start seeing results.
What is a Loofah?
Loofah is a plant in the cucumber family. It is a vine with lovely beautiful yellow flowers that is very much loved by bees. A loofah sponge’s coarse texture helps with skin polishing. A fully developed fruit is very fibrous and is used as a natural body sponge.
The plant grows at the SeaStarz Naturals home in the Fiji Islands. All Loofahs are hand-picked, hand-cleaned and washed and dried under the Fijian sky in the warm sunshine.
How to use
Loofah is a great natural tool to work on cellulite areas: dry brush with loofah (upward movements toward the heart) vigorously daily and finish with hot and cold shower.
