Hello everyone, or "BULA" as we say in Fijian!!
After many months of preparation, hard work and a few minor setbacks, we are pleased to tell you that myFijiStore is now live and operational!
Creating something new, completely from scratch has proven to be quite a challenge; it’s been a really eye-opening and rewarding journey. We have found many talented Fiji-based Crafters and Artisans, sourced some amazing gifts and immersed ourselves in cutting-edge technology to bring you a unique glimpse of the Fiji Islands. This is the best of Fiji, and we are proud to share it with you!
We want you to feel that you’re a part of Fiji through myFijiStore, so as well as sourcing awesome Fijian gifts (we hope you agree!), we have designed the site with small personal touches such as the local time and weather in Fiji at the bottom of each page. Check it out!
Our mission is to bring you only the highest quality gifts, with each gift being proudly 100% Fiji made. More than that, we want to share with you the story behind our products, so that you can see where they come from, how they are made, and what they mean to the people who have put their heart and soul into creating them.
It's exciting for us to be able to create something new and fresh, and to share this with you! This is a very personal project, which makes a big difference to our Crafters and Artisans. Many of them do not have access to international customers because Fiji is so far away from everywhere else (take a look at a map!). We are using technology to introduce these talented people to you and show you what they are capable of!
You no longer need to hop on a plane to see how special Fiji is, you can see that for yourself on myFijiStore through our gifts, pictures and Blog posts. We have created an international marketplace to connect our talented Crafters and Artisans with customers who are savvy enough to appreciate the unique and valuable gifts that Fiji has to offer.
You can rest assured that each product, especially the soaps, loofahs, Virgin Coconut Oil and Chocolates (yum yum!) have been diligently quality-tested by us during product selection. Only the best of the best make it to myFijiStore.
We still have a fair bit of work to do; we plan to roll out new features on the site and new products in the coming weeks and months, but for now we hope you enjoy myFijiStore.com.
