Many of these talented crafters don’t have the time, infrastructure or ecommerce experience to reach customers overseas on their own. My Fiji Store helps bridge that gap by giving them a trusted online platform and connecting their products with customers around the world.

Founded by Tasneem Hussein
My Fiji Store was founded by Tasneem ‘Taz’ Hussein, who first visited Fiji in 2011 and quickly fell in love with the islands, the people and the culture.
After several years working in corporate technology roles in London, Australia and Singapore, Taz decided she wanted to build something of her own – something that felt meaningful and made a real difference. In 2014, she returned to Fiji to start a new chapter and create a business from the ground up.
As she travelled around Fiji, she was struck by the creativity, talent and craftsmanship she encountered. Artists, crafters and small businesses were producing wonderful products, yet many struggled to reach customers beyond the tourists who visited Fiji each year.
With a background in IT and an idea she believed in, Taz created My Fiji Store in 2015 to help showcase Fiji’s products – and the talented people behind them.

Alongside running My Fiji Store, Taz also works through Pacific Islands Online Solutions (PIOS), helping businesses across Fiji and the Pacific improve their websites, digital marketing and online presence.
She regularly delivers training and workshops for entrepreneurs, tourism operators and small businesses, sharing practical ideas and real-world experience gained from building and running an online business in Fiji.
Operating My Fiji Store while working with businesses across the Pacific creates a valuable two-way exchange of ideas. It helps Taz stay current, continue growing, and bring new insights back into My Fiji Store – ensuring customers benefit from a business that is always evolving and improving.
